Job Summary
As the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will play a key role in achieving the objectives set by management.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Marketing Planning and Coordination
- Translate annual strategic objectives into a clear operational plan and calendar
- Oversee the execution of campaigns, communication tools, and digital initiatives (advertising, social media, web, email, etc.)
- Manage timelines, priorities, and associated budgets
Content Management and Communication
- Write, edit, and adapt marketing and communication content
- Coordinate the production of tools with the graphic designer
- Manage the communication plan
- Develop and implement campaign calendars
- Ensure consistency in tone, branding, and image across all touchpoints
Digital Marketing
- Manage digital campaigns: social media, online advertising, SEO/SEM, newsletters
- Monitor and analyze results, propose adjustments
- Oversee the website
- Coordinate with external vendors when applicable
Events and Partnerships
- Plan and organize events (trade shows, product launches, client or partner activities)
- Manage logistics, communications, and outcomes
- Identify visibility, sponsorship, and collaboration opportunities
Internal and Cross-Departmental Relations
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, and HR teams (employer branding) to ensure marketing needs are met
- Regularly update the Director on progress, challenges, results, and recommendations
Desired Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
Experience: 3 to 5 years in marketing/communications
Languages: Excellent command of French and English (spoken and written) to communicate with clients and suppliers outside Quebec
Skills:
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and autonomy
- Excellent writing skills
- Proficiency with digital tools (CRM, CMS, newsletters, social media, Google Analytics, etc.)
- Experience coordinating diverse campaigns and projects
- Influential leadership, initiative, and ability to drive progress
