Job Summary :

The painter operates the equipment for painting and uses spray guns to apply the coating of Stûv stoves and fireplaces. In the precision of execution of their tasks, they contribute to the production of high-end devices whose quality standards have made the reputation of the company. Through their experience, they contribute to the achievement of operational objectives.

Main tasks :

• Choose the appropriate paint, and prepare the paint according to pre-established formulas using the automatic mixer;
• Perform degreasing using solvent, stripping, sanding or preparing products to be painted;
• Operate paint application equipment;
• Clean and maintain equipment related to paint application;
• Collaborate in certain activities surrounding production (assembly requiring light mechanics, painting, packaging);
• Ensure compliance with production guidelines in order to guarantee the company’s deadlines and quality standards;
• Make sure to keep the workplace clean, healthy and safe by respecting company policies.

Requirements :

• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in painting or equivalent;
• No minimum experience required;
• Ability to express oneself clearly in one of the 2 official languages (French or English);
• Work in a meticulous and orderly manner (very high level of precision required);
• Resourceful, autonomous, quick learner;
• Perfectionist and rigorous in the execution of his tasks;
• Experience in the safe driving of forklifts an asset;
• Skill in handling tools safely (pneumatic and electric tools, miter saw, drill, riveter, etc.).

Stûv America’s offer:

• Hourly salary starting at 22,00$
• WITHOUT TRAINING: hourly salary of 20,00$
• Work schedule on 4.5 days: Monday to Thursday 7h00 until 16h15, Friday 7h00 until 12h00
