Founded in 1983, Stûv employs more than 120 people and manufactures more than 15,000 appliances per year, which are distributed worldwide. Job description

Working in brand new, state-of-the-art facilities and equipped with the best tools and equipment, such as hydraulic lift tables and a ventilated 3M Speedglas welding helmet, the employee participates in the production of Stûv stoves and fireplaces. Working with great precision, they contribute to the production of high-end appliances whose quality standards built the company’s reputation. By applying their experience, they contribute to reaching the operational objectives.

Main tasks

• Weld the products according to the manufacturing orders issued by the production department;
• MIG weld on thin sheets (less than 11ga);
• Participate in all activities surrounding production (welding, grinding, assembling, painting, packaging);
• Ensure that the production guidelines are respected, to guarantee the company’s lead times and quality standards;
• Carry out other tasks related to the job.

Requirements

• Diploma of vocational studies (DEP) in welding or equivalent;
• No minimum experience required;
• Ability to work in a meticulous and orderly fashion (very high level of precision required);
• Resourceful, self-reliant, quick to learn;
• A perfectionist attitude and meticulous execution of tasks;
• Experience safely operating forklifts (an asset);
• Ability to safely handle tools (pneumatic and electric tools, miter saw, drill, rivet gun, etc.).

Stûv America’s offer:

• Hourly salary from 23,66$ up to 26,44$
• Work schedule on 4.5 days: Monday to Thursday 7h00 until 16h15, Friday 7h00 until 12h00
