WHAT’S WAITING FOR YOU

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a strategic partner to management and supervisors, supporting them in daily team management, policy implementation, and compliance with labor laws;
  • Be a strong ambassador for our structured management approach linked to hypergrowth;
  • Define and implement HR strategies to support operations, organizational development, and change management;
  • Prepare and manage the HR department budget;
  • Lead various committees and coordinate their activities, including the employee committee and the health and safety committee;
  • Define recruitment strategies and oversee the full staffing process, including workforce planning;
  • Help build and promote an organizational culture and employer brand aligned with company values;
  • Enhance the employee experience through integration, recognition, and talent retention initiatives;
  • Deploy programs that balance performance and well-being at work;
  • Implement skills development programs to support employee growth;
  • Structure and optimize performance evaluations in line with organizational objectives;
  • Manage daily HR operations, including employee relations, compensation and benefits, health and safety files, and legal compliance;
  • Support the company’s evolution by implementing agile and adaptable HR practices.

HR STRUCTURE

Currently, this role is unique: you will be the sole HR resource in the company, giving you the opportunity to make a direct and immediate impact on our practices and culture. As our organization grows rapidly, the strategic scope of this role continues to expand. In the future, it could even include direct participation in the leadership team.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent;
  • Membership in the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés du Québec (an asset);
  • 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in high-growth environments;
  • Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written;
  • Experience in strategic planning and organizational development;
  • Leadership: Ability to mobilize and positively influence teams and managers;
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and talent for building trust-based relationships;
  • Results-oriented: Strong ability to align HR strategies with business objectives;
  • Project management: Autonomy, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple complex files simultaneously;
  • Agility and adaptability: Ability to thrive in a transforming environment and respond to changing business needs;
  • Creativity: Innovative mindset to propose solutions adapted to organizational challenges.
