Removable handle for a sleek design
The air required for combustion comes directly from under through an outside air intake connector specially designed for the Stûv 16-cube, H and V models.
Air injectors at the top of the combustion chamber allow for a second combustion of the gases, reducing the release of particulate matter into the air.
Once the gases have been burned off, they are expelled through the flue.
The sweeftng airflow clears combustion dust from the glass, providing a clear view of the flames.
Ambiant air from the room flows along the combustion chamber and absorbs heat.
The heated air exits naturally from the top of the unit and spreads a comforting warmth into the room.
Handles or convection grills are not visible on the Stûv 16s. A removable key serves as a tool to open the hinged door. The heat is released into the room via an opening located between the combustion chamber and the envelope of the wood stove. Behind these characteristics hide ingenious mechanisms to ensure the proper operation of the device.
